Payment Options

At Cherry Point Animal Hospital, our goal is to provide you and your pets with the highest quality service and care. In order to do this, we purchase high quality medications, state of the art equipment, and keep our facility well maintained. We hire intelligent, passionate people and provide them with continued training to ensure we stay current on the latest developments in veterinary medicine.

Providing premium veterinary care can be costly and we understand that finances need to be considered when making decisions regarding your pet’s care. Feel free to request an estimate of any treatment plan or recommendation the doctor has made for your pet.

For all routine or elective procedures, we require payment in full at the time services are rendered. This includes all office visits, exams, consults, scheduled surgeries, recheck appointments, medications, food, blood tests, x-rays, ultrasounds, vaccinations, boarding, grooming, bathing, and any other diagnostics. We accept cash, checks (with valid driver’s license and two phone numbers after a client has been established at our practice for over a year), Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Care Credit. Please note there is a $25 fee for all returned checks.

There are several pet insurance programs that help owners defray the cost of veterinary care. Our office still requires payment in full, however, we would be happy to provide you with any additional copies of invoices or statements necessary for filing for insurance reimbursements.

What is Care Credit?

So that we are able to provide your pet with the care it needs, we offer financing/payment plan options through Care Credit. This is similar to other major credit cards but each transaction is eligible for a No Interest Payment Plan when paid off within the promotional period of 6 months if the purchase is $200 or more. There is a $50 minimum transaction amount. An application is available at our front desk or online and a decision is given immediately. You may access the website www.CareCredit.com to apply. On the home page you will need to complete the Find a Doctor section to help facilitate the application process. If approved, simply print the Approval page and bring to our office with two forms of ID (one must be a photo ID) to use until your card is received from Care Credit.
